NPR LIVE SESSIONS

Live Sessions is a digital music video service that introduces emerging and established artists to new audiences. Live Sessions aggregates performance videos and interviews from leading "Music Discovery" public radio stations from markets across the U.S. Unique video channels include nationally curated playlists, local market playlists, and custom playlists from artists and others. VuHaus also live streams concerts and events through partner stations, including NPR.

By creating exposure for these acts, Live Sessions provides a unique window into the country's most vibrant music scenes.

Working in collaboration with Public Media Company, as Director of Product I managed the product design and development process to build, launch, and manage the independent platform VuHaus.com, through to its acquisition and rebranding by NPR.

The process included audience research, and a 12 week design process that walked founding stations KCRW, KEXP, WXPN, WFUV, KUTX and The Bridge through the steps of feature definition, wireframing, and visual design.
I then managed the development of the platform through launch, in coordination with design partner Landscape and development partner Bletchley Park.

I continued to oversee the product as it grew to 20 stations and 8000 videos.
